Who are we?

Our names are Phil and Carter, and we’re biking the silk road.

Carter is a certified Wilderness First Responder with backcountry survival experience (bushwacking in the Yukon, backpacking on the AT, motorbiking the length of Vietnam).

Phil brings extensive cycling experience (cycled across America, Ironman athlete, misguided city commuter) to the team.

Why? Why? Why?

Because someone needs to bike in the damn rain!

Phil and I are embarking on this expedition to re-engage with a world that has felt so distant the last couple years. But this adventure is also about squeezing as much out of life as we can. We're abandoning our consulting jobs in search of something more meaningful, and we're eager to test ourselves on the open road.
